Notes: A long-lived native oak, found in bottomlands and river bottoms. Known for its outstanding autumn color, the Cow Oak is highly prized, but not commonly available in the nursery industry due to its slow growth rate. Great volumes of leaf fall in autumn and make this species a maintenance concern |
