| Notes: Thryallis is a semi-evergreen tropical shrub native to Central America. The showy yellow flowers are abundant all summer. Plants become rather open and leggy with age and may require periodic pruning to maintain shape. On the LSU campus, Thryallis planted in 2001 have survived 5 years of relatively mild winters with no cold damage and remained evergreen |
